Race Clutch Kits
For many years AP Racing has been a world leader in the design and manufacture of competition clutch systems. The already extensive Racing Clutch Range of Ø115mm (4½") to Ø215mm (8½") now benefits from the latest 'Pull Type' Clutch designs.
Up to 30% more efficient
The pull type clutch can be up to 30% more efficient than the conventional push type clutch as well as being lighter and simpler in construction. The pull type clutch will remain far more consistent in load characteristics and feel during wear, due to an improved fulcrum arrangement and reduction in fulcrum wear.
Consideration however, must be given to the clutch release. The pull type clutch requires the release mechanism to be attached to the spring when attaching the gearbox to the engine and detached from the spring when the gearbox is removed from the engine. This makes the pull type clutch ideal for locating in the gearbox.
